Oldsmar Soccer Club Goes MLS

This past summer, the Oldsmar Soccer Club U13 Boys competitive team had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Cincinnati and enjoy the hospitality of FC Cincinnati of Major League Soccer.

The first morning the team was able to travel to FC Cincinnati's training facility and watch the first team train for their game the following day against Toronto FC.  Once the first team emerged onto the pitch to begin warmups head coach Pat Noonan came over and shared some great words of wisdom and encouragement with the players.

After the first team completed training, the team headed to TQL Stadium to get a behind the scenes tour.  The tour involved visits to Club boxes, every seating level, the tunnel the players walk out of and field level view of the pitch.

The tour concluded with a visit to the fan shop where the team outfitted themselves for the game the next evening.

The following day, the team had breakfast and then headed out for a scrimmage game against renowned youth soccer club, Kings Hammer.  The game was close and a great learning experience for the team.

That evening, the team headed to downtown Cincinnati for a team dinner and to attend the FC Cincinnati vs. Toronto FC match @ TQL Stadium.

This was a fantastic trip that will have lasting memories for the players and parents. The team and club would like to thank our Director of Coaching, Perry Van Der Beck for organizing everything and joining the team for this unforgettable experience.
